The Belvedere Press is proud to sponsor the 2008 Practitioners Book Awards. This award is given annually to the book our Selection Committee provides the best practical advice to impact the reader.  “Discuss philosophy. Implement technology” will be the guide our esteemed selection committee will follow.

 

The Practitioners Book Awards are awarded to business books that may cover any of the following categories:

 

Management

Sales

Marketing

Career Development

Web Marketing

Finance

Operations

Organization

Strategy

 

 

PRACTITIONERS BOOK AWARD 

 

Criteria

• A significant aspect of the book must relate to business, and present practical unique ideas or technology that will allow the reader to drive value, increase personal growth, or increase business productivity.

• To be eligible for the Awards presented in spring of 2008, the book must have been published for the first time within the year under consideration, which runs from October 1, 2006 to December 31, 2008.

 

 

Nominating Procedure

• Publishers, authors and booksellers are all welcome to nominate books throughout the year.

• There is a $50 submission fee.

• Books may be presented in galley, Advance Reading Copy, or published formats.

• Books will not be returned.

 

 

Award Winners

• Awards are presented in three categories. The three possible Award Categories are: First Prize, Runner Up, Honorable Mention. Each of these awards is something to be proud of!

• Each of the winners will receive announcements in ten separate internet PR sites.

• Each of the winners will have a book review written outlining why they won the Practitioners Book Award.

 

TERMS & CONDITIONS

 

Entry form, fees, and two books must be postmarked by the dates outlined in the form.

 

Books submitted will not be returned.

 

Entry form must be filled out completely.

 

Upon registration in the award contest, a confirming email will be sent to the submitter.

 

Copyright holder warrants that the Belvedere Press is authorized to use short quotes for review purposes.
